Beyoncé’s Coachella Performance Made History

On Saturday night, everyone stopped everything they were doing to watch  Beyoncé’s epic performance. The star was the queen of Coachella this year, but what’s even more wonderful is that she’s the first woman of color to headline the music festival in Indio, California.
"Coachella, thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline," Beyoncé said while on stage. The American diva sang several songs from the Lemonade album with the help of her band and step dancers who backed her up, and her numerous and epic outfits were custom-designed by Balmain's Olivier Rousteing.

Another unexpected turn of events: Queen Bey   was joined onstage by Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland during her highly anticipated Coachella set to reform Destiny's Child, she paid tribute to Nina Simone, sang “Déjà vu” with Jay-Z, danced with her sister Solange, and she even quoted Malcolm X!
